In a TikTok video that has gone viral, Kadia Iman, a black college graduate, is seen forcefully grabbing the microphone from a white administrator during her commencement speech.

Iman claims that the administrator cut her off and didn't allow her to fully express herself during the ceremony.

As each student was given the opportunity to speak, Iman noticed the administrator pulling the mic down quickly for some black students.


She decided to take action and reclaim her moment by forcefully taking the microphone and stating her full name to the crowd.

Iman expressed her frustration with the situation and emphasized that she worked hard to graduate and deserved to have her moment. The incident has sparked a strong reaction online, with many supporting Iman's actions.

In a video on her Tik Tok account, Iman stated that she doesn't want to cause problems or violate anyone, but felt that she needed to stand up for herself and other black students who may have been cut off during their speeches.

"I don't want to be that person, but that's what happened. I couldn't let it go because I worked incredibly hard to graduate and went through many challenges. I felt the need to reclaim my moment." she said.
